When storing DNA samples, it is known that they must be prepared to be stored to some extent. Traditionally, the method of choice has been to freeze the DNA samples, then thaw them when needed. Otherwise, the samples would remain in a room-temperature environment. Under both circumstances, the sample’s integrity is threatened.
Thanks to GenTegra, that isn’t the case anymore. Their DNA tubes can store DNA at room temperature without causing any harm or impact on the sample. This app note discusses the effectiveness of the GenTegra-DNA tubes in an experiment by GenTegra.
